Thomastown Recreation & Aquatic Centre is the premier indoor swimming pool and gym in the City of Whittlesea servicing Thomastown, Lalor, Epping, Mill Park, South Morang, Campbellfield, Bundoora, Reservoir and Fawkner. Our facility is staffed by a team of exercise, aquatics and customer service professionals committed to being at your service.
Thomastown Recreation & Aquatic Centre is a large, year round facility that includes an indoor 25 meter lap pool, hydrotherapy pool, warm water pool, fun pool with water slide, toddlers pool, sauna, steam room, spa, gym, group exercise, multi-purpose sports court, occasional childcare and function room hire. We also have an outdoor water park with great activities for the kids complete with BBQ facilities.
We have a wide range of membership options to assist you with becoming happier and healthier and our learn to swim program provides cost effective and quality swimming education. There is something for everybody at TRAC.

TRAC Café offers a wide range of food, drink and healthy choice options. Passing by TRAC? Why not pop in for a bite to eat or a coffee catch up with friends even if you are not planning on going to the pools or gym. TRAC Café food is freshly homemade cooked meals with vegetarian options available. All members receive a free members breakfast at TRAC Café on the first Wednesday of every month from 7am-8.30am.
Workout, swim or maybe pop out to run some errands with the peace of mind that your little ones are having a ball in the licensed crèche. Our Crèche & Occasional Care services are run by fully qualified and highly experienced Children’s Service’s professionals that provide your child with a fun, friendly and stimulating environment.
Our qualified and experienced staff will care for babies from 6 weeks of age up to children 5 years of age. Activities include art, craft, social interactions and other educational experiences, along with an outdoor play area – you can rest easy knowing that they are safe & happy in our care! Crèche is open 9:15am – 11:45am each weekday with a minimum offering of 30 minute sessions. Bookings are essential.

TRAC’S Sports Stadium in a full sized air conditioned multi purpose court and can be hired for an event or sports training and is also available for casual sports play. With female and male dedicated change rooms and scoreboard facilities available why not come along to TRAC to shoot some hoops, bring your racquet and play a bit of badminton or play a bit of volleyball.

TRAC offers a fun filled and exciting School Holiday Program available to primary school aged children. Our fully accredited School Holiday program runs every school holidays from 7:30am – 6:00pm and is jam packed with flexible activities, adventure and brand new educational experiences for your children to explore. Activities on offer include indoor and outdoor activities, swimming, incursions, excursions and theme days.

The Spa, Steam and Sauna operate the same as the centre hours, however, they close 30 minutes before the listed close time.

Yes, we do run swim lessons for adults of all abilities and skill level.
Yes, you can, each member is allocated 4 weeks free any time during the year, if you wish to suspend your membership for long, the cost is 33 cents per day.
You can suspend your membership via email (firstname.lastname@example.org) or speak to one of our customer services team at reception the next time you come into TRAC and they can assist you with completing the necessary paperwork.
Your initial health check should be booked in when joining. If you require a further appointment please see our staff in the gym or reception and they can assist you.
